THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported our beer festival earlier this summer.🍻 The accounts for 2024 are now finalised, and we are delighted to announce that we raised a whopping £50,000!!

These funds will now be invested in capital projects to maintain and improve Grange Park Sports Club and by doing so we ensure that club fees remain affordable and grassroots sports continue to thrive in Wetherby.
As a community event, we also wanted to do our bit to say thank you and give back to the wider community. We have donated small but meaningful sums to support ‘The Build’ @ Martin House Children’s Hospice to purchase an item of playground equipment for the new Sandringham Park playground, and Boston Spa Hockey Club, which is searching for new premises following the closure of the hockey pitch at the school.
We couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers, sponsors – especially Manning Stainton Estate Agents, Schofield Sweeney and Progeny – and all of you who came out to enjoy the festivities.
We say farewell to Deb Kelly who has been our organising committee chair and Event Director for the last two years and helped us to get the event off the ground, leaving us with a formula for future success – thank you Deb!
